SALT LAKE CITY (May 8, 2017) – A late-game offensive rally propelled Salt Lake to a 5-3 victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers on Tuesday evening.  Omaha starter Luke Farrell was solid for the Storm Chasers, holding onto a no-hitter through the first five innings before Sherman Johnson came through to break it up with a single. Bo Way followed with a walk, which brought up Carlos Perez, who belted a single into center to bring Johnson and Way home to give their first runs of the game. Salt Lake would go on to tie the game in the seventh as Dustin Ackley singled off Bobby Parnell (L, 1-2) and was brought home by Shane Robinson with an RBI single to tie the game. The tie lasted just an inning as Perez and Kaleb Cowart lead off with back-to-back singles, and after a sacrifice bunt, Rey Navarro smashed a double into left to bring in two RBIs.
