Oklahoma City rallied to score two runs in the bottom of the eighth, as the Dodgers edged the Salt Lake Bees 5-4 on Saturday night. Bees’ reliever Lucas Luetge (0-1) walked the first two batters he faced, but got Jose Tabata to ground into a double play to leave a runner at third with two out. Micah Johnson brought home the tying run with an infield single. He stole second before Zach Walters singled to center to bring home Johnson with the eventual winning run.
Rey Navarro twice gave Salt Lake a one run lead with RBI singles in the fourth and sixth innings. Ji-Man Choi belted a two run homer in the first to give the Bees an early 2-0 lead. Navarro led Salt Lake with two hits and two runs batted in, while Kyle Kubitza added a pair of singles. Bees starter Kyle Kendrick went five innings and allowed three runs on six hits with four strikeouts and one walk and relief pitcher Cody Satterwhite tossed two scoreless innings. The Bees suffered their fifth consecutive loss and their ninth straight road loss, which equals a franchise record that was set in 2013.
