The Salt Lake Bees snapped their five game losing streak with a 6-4 win over the Oklahoma City Dodgers on Sunday afternoon. The Bees trailed 1-0 in the third, but took a 4-1 lead on a two run triple by Rey Navarro, an RBI ground out by Jefry Marte and a run scoring single by Nick Buss. Salt Lake led 6-1 when Oklahoma City closed the gap with three runs in the eighth. The Dodgers got their leadoff man on in the ninth to bring the tying run to the plate, but Javy Guerra retired the next three batters to record his fifth save.

David Carpenter (1-1) pitched a scoreless fourth inning to earn the victory. Kaleb Cowart led the Bees with three hits, including two doubles, while Quintin Berry and Ryan Jackson each added two hits and one run batted in. The win also ended Salt Lake’s franchise record tying nine game road losing streak.
