Three Oklahoma City pitchers combined on a five hitter, as the Dodgers shutout the Salt Lake Bees 1-0 on Friday night. The only run of the game came in the bottom of the fourth inning when Rob Segedin led off with a triple to right center and scored on a single to left by Jose Tabata. After each of the five hits, none of the Salt Lake runners advanced any further on the base paths. The Bees had one last shot in the ninth, but after a one out single by Ji-Man Choi, Jefry Marte grounded into a game ending double play.

Chris Jones (3-3) was the tough luck losing pitcher, as he went six inning and allowed just one run on five hits with five strikeouts and two walks. Ramon Ramirez and Al Alburquerque each tossed one scoreless inning in relief of Jones. Nick Buss led the Bees with two hits, including a double. Salt Lake now lost four consecutive games and eight straight on the road.
