West Jordan – The Layton Lancers traveled to Copper Hills High School to take on the Grizzlies and came out on top in an overtime win 60 – 55. Copper Hills led by 9 at the half but Layton opened the second half on a 17-7 run to get back in the game and pull off the comeback win on the road. Mike Hibbert led the Lancers with 20 points while Jariesse Blackmon scored 14 more before fowling out of the game. The Grizzlies were led by Preston Sanchez scoring a game high 21 points for the Grizzlies in the loss. Copper Hills now travels to Southern California to take on San Diego High School.
