RSL and FC Dallas draw at Rio Tinto

Damir Kreilach attacks with his head

Rio Tinto Stadium, Sandy, UT – RSL looked like they had control of the match but between the goal keeper and the post no goals means a draw against FC Dallas. The home club took 20 shots on goal and couldn’t convert any of them.

Jimmy Maurer had a good night.

The first half of the match had its share of chances for RSL with Corey Baird deep in the mix of most of them. With the post doing almost as much defending of the goal as Maurer. 18 of RSL’s 20 shots happened in the first half but only 3 of those shots where on frame. Dallas did have one chance in the half but this time the post helped out Real Salt Lake to keep the clubs even.
