COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (May 17, 2016) – Two straight days of rain have canceled the third and fourth games of the Salt Lake Bees series at Colorado Springs. Being the only series of the year between the two teams the games will not be made up. This marks the first time since 2009 that the Bees will not play their full complement of 144 regular season games.
The Bees have a day off on Wednesday before traveling to Oklahoma City to start a four-game series with the Dodgers. All Bees games – home and away – are broadcast on The Zone Sports Network (1280 AM) with Steve Klauke providing the play-by-play. The Bees return home on Monday, May 23 to start an eight-game homestand against the Memphis Redbirds and Nashville Sounds.
