Today, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim received cash considerations from the Texas Rangers in exchange for Kyle Kubitza. Kyle has been a long time fixture with the Salt Lake Bees and in the Angels organization for several years.
The big 3rd basemen who bats left and throws right was considered one the of the Angels players of the future. Kyle hitting only .271 with the Bees in 2015 and .253 in 2016 wasn’t quite as polished as Kaleb Cowart who has also spent time with the Angels this season. The Bees put Kubitza on waivers expecting him to be picked up and the Rangers did so.
