Salt Lake City – A second home victory in a row for the Utah Jazz as they get past the Milwaukee Bucks 96-87 tonight at Energy Solutions Arena. The game featured the two teams with the worst records in the NBA, Milwaukee at 7-24 and Utah at 10-24 entering the game.
Milwaukee struggled to find consistent offense but were lead by Larry Sanders 16 points and 8 rebounds, also Luke Ridnour had 12 points and 8 assists. Bench player Gary Neal contributed 11.
The Jazz had a 15 point lead at one point but was whittled down to 3 when Sanders made a layup to cap a 7-0 run to make the score 83-80 with 3:42 left in the game. But the determined Jazz made a late run of their own and pushed the lead back up to 9 when the final buzzard sounded.
Utah travels to Los Angeles tomorrow night to face the Lakers for the second time this season and whom they beat a week ago. Lakers most likely will be looking to even the score. The complete schedule for all Utah Sporting News content can be viewed on our calendar.
