The Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, is a the racing facility in the United States purposely built for Formula 1 racing. The COTA race is the 18th of 19 stops in the 2013 FIA Formula 1T World Championship. Spectators from around the will be attending this event to see the cars of Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, and Renault.
German driver Sebastian Vettel racing for Red Bull Racing leads the 2013 FIA Formula One World Championships over Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso by 130 points. Red Bull Racing leads the team standings with Vettel and Australian teammate Mark Webber by nearly 170 points.
